Hello peeps, so the summers are here and we all are all set to enjoy this season, with beach vacay and some cool summer activities, but along with the fun it brings, it also brings us the need to take care of our skin.

Taking care of skin is an ultimate goal to achieve in summers are our skin needs special care during this season.

 

Here is all you gotta do in summers to maintain your soft and glowy skin:

 

  1. Use Cleanser:

Using a cleanser with lower pH is the first and great step towards skincare during summers. It will maintain your skin’s naturally acidic pH. Make cleansers a part of your daily routine and get the happy skin results.

 

  1. Don’t Go without sunscreen:

Sunscreens prevent your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun. These rays are responsible for tanning and various skin issues. Sunscreen prevents your skin from a harmful attack from sun rays. Sunscreens not only prevents your skin from UV rays, but also fades dark spots, and works as an amazing anti-aging product. It is recommended using sunscreen with SPF 40+ for better protection.

 

  1. Exfoliate:

Exfoliating is the treatment of removing dead cells which your skin demands frequently.

By exfoliating your skin you remove the dead cells from your skin and take off the tanned cells as well. It nourishes your skin and makes it a better canvas to paint your makeup on.

But remember, Do not over exfoliate 2-3 times a week is sufficient.

 

  1. Try Aloe Vera this season:

Aloe vera has a cure for a lot of skin issues, during summers it turns out to be a soothing balm which could your skin after a long day in the sun. It contains the antioxidants which protect your skin and nourishes it.

 

  1. Minimal makeup should be preferred:

This summer, please go for minimal makeup. The bold makeup with various of makeup products could affect your skin bad, leaving no space for it to breathe. Hence, go for minimal makeup, in a matte finish, to avail the fresh look.

 

  1. Avoid direct sunlight:

Avoid direct sunlight whenever possible. Nothing else would damage your skin in summers than exposure to direct sunlight. Avoid going into direct sunlight, or use an umbrella, hats, scarfs for the possible protection.

 

  1. Home Remedies works best:

Home remedies using cucumber, lemon, orange, curd, gram flour, honey, etc. works best for pampering your skin during summers.

 

  1. Have a healthy diet:

Have a healthy diet. Don’t go for fried oily food items, instead have food that is rich in fibre like cabbage, cucumber, carrot etc. Also, become friends with fruits that got more hydrating substances. Some of such fruits are watermelon, apples, red bell peppers, pineapples, grapefruit, and berries etc.

 

  1. Stay Hydrated

Last and the most important point “drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day”

Water intake is very important during summers, and well throughout the year to maintain your beautiful skin. During summers, your body dehydrates and demands more water intake, hence increase the amount of water you usually drink.
